Morgantown, Pa. — Nine juveniles escaped Sunday night from Abraxas Academy, a juvenile detention center in Morgantown, the Berks County District Attorney's Office said.
All nine were later captured, state police said.
"We're going to interview all nine of them," Pennsylvania State Police Trooper David Beohm is quoted as saying by The Associated Press. "I know there's stuff in the works right now to decide where they are going to go after that takes place."
All will be charged with escape, he said.
Initially, four were caught early Monday, state police said.
The breakout happened just after 8 o'clock, according to the DA's office.
There was a riot just before the escape, state police said, but authorities said law enforcement subsequently regained control of the facility.
It was unclear if anyone was injured.
